Trailer Rental in Simpsonville, SC: We Drop It Off

By Ian McAlister, Patriot Hauling. Serving Greenville and the Upstate of South Carolina.

Empty wood-sided flatbed trailer with its loading ramps down beside a wood fence

A lot of Simpsonville driveways will take a dump trailer. A lot of Simpsonville households do not have a truck that can pull one. Trailer rental in Simpsonville, SC is the drop-off version of that problem: Ian brings the trailer to your pad, you load it, and he comes back for it. You never hitch it.

Patriot Hauling is a veteran-owned crew based in the Greenville area. Ian McAlister, a Marine Corps veteran, runs the truck. He does not drop a roll-off. This rental is not Ian doing the lifting. You load. He drops it off and picks it up.

What trailer rental in Simpsonville actually is

The trailer stays where Ian places it. You throw authorized debris in. When the dates are up, he retrieves it. That is the whole rental. If you want Ian to walk a pile, price it, and load it, that is junk removal, not this page.

If the pile is under the house, skip the rental. Tight access and crawl spaces are haul-away work on the Simpsonville junk removal page. A trailer in the driveway does not empty a hatch. Ian loads those jobs himself.

Rate card and booking live on the trailer rental details page. Read this if you need the trailer on a Simpsonville driveway: the pad, the HOA, what may go in, and when you should not rent.

Where the trailer sits on a Simpsonville driveway

The visit lives or dies on the pad. Ian has to pull a truck and trailer to your address and leave the trailer where you can load it without blocking the street. Before you book, walk the spot yourself and tell him:

  • The pad. Concrete, asphalt, or packed gravel that will hold the trailer. A sloped lawn or a strip of grass next to a culvert is a different conversation.
  • The approach. How he gets from the street to that pad. A tight turn, a shared drive, a gate, or a long walk from the pile changes the drop.
  • What is over the spot. Lines, low limbs, a basketball hoop, a porch overhang. He cannot drop under something that will catch the trailer.
  • How long it can stay. If your HOA already told you a trailer can sit two days and not a week, say that before the dates are held.

Photograph the driveway from the street and from the pad. One close-up of the pile does not show him where the trailer has to live. He still calls before anything is on the calendar. Simpsonville is a short run from Greenville. That does not make today a promise.

If the HOA or a neighbor wants it moved

Do not move it. The rental agreement is the rule, not a suggestion: you do not tow, relocate, or slide the trailer down the street. If an HOA officer, a neighbor, or a city note says it has to shift, call Ian. He placed it. He is the one who can move it.

If you already know your street is picky about trailers, say the rule when you book. Off Fairview, near downtown, or out toward Five Forks, the street name is useful because it tells him the approach. Those names are on the map. They are not extra Patriot shops and they do not change the price.

What belongs in the trailer, and what does not

A driveway rental is for debris you can carry to the pad yourself: limbs and brush from a weekend of cutting, boxes and broken gear already in the garage, cabinet and flooring scraps from a room you are gutting, or household junk that is not coming to the next place. If you cannot get it to the trailer without a crew, do not rent. Book a pickup.

Leave paint, chemicals, oil, tires, batteries, and pesticides out. The agreement does not authorize those. Set them aside and ask before you book. Do not hide a can in a bag.

Everything that goes in is dump. Open the totes before you throw them. Papers, keys, and the drawer you have not checked do not come back. Once the trailer leaves, Patriot does not sort it at the dump.

What it costs

$150 covers up to 2 days and the first $30 of dump fees. Extra days are $100 each. Dump fees over $30 are due after pickup, by invoice or cash. Once Ian confirms, the trailer is held for your dates. Ian drops the trailer off and picks it up. You do not tow.

Simpsonville does not get a different rate card. Junk-removal dollars are not on this page. If Ian loads, you hear that number standing next to the pile.

Pickup day

You load. You do not haul it to the dump. When the booked days are up, Ian comes back. Leave the trailer where he set it. If you finish early, call. If you need another day and the calendar is open, extra days are $100 each. Do not leave it sitting into the next weekend on a guess.

How to book a Simpsonville drop-off

Book a trailer drop-off on the same form as a pickup. Pick the dates, sign the rental agreement on the site, and a copy goes to you and to Ian. He confirms by phone before it is scheduled. Questions first? Call or text (864) 483-3670 and you talk to Ian, not a call center.

Tell him the street, where the trailer should sit, and a plain list of what is going in. Payment after the job is cash, check, card, Venmo, or Zelle. Veterans, military, and first responders get a discount.

When you should skip the rental

Rent it if you have the hands, the time, and a pad that can hold the trailer. Skip it if the work is under the house, up a hatch, or up stairs you do not want to work. Skip it if you do not want to lift, or if the load is one couch and you would rather Ian take it.

That last case is a junk removal pickup. Ian walks it, prices it before he loads, and tries to haul it the same visit if the trailer is free. He confirms by phone. Same-day is not a promise.

Drop-off here vs hitching one yourself

Most trailer rentals assume you have a truck. This one does not. Ian drops a dump trailer on your pad and picks it up. The dollars are the same in Spartanburg and the rest of the Upstate. The Greenville dump trailer how-to walks through booking and price for the whole area. Stay here if the question is where it sits on a Simpsonville driveway and what to do if someone asks you to move it.
